BPX is a specialist distributor of industrial electrical control and automation products. Our head office is in Leicester, and there are five further BPX Branches throughout the UK.

BPX Electro Mechanical Co. is the original member of the BPX Group which also includes the companies Controls and Drives, Ranger Computer Systems and Leicester Switch & Control. These businesses operate in the complementary areas of automation solutions, system integration and computer product distribution.

BPX first opened for business in 1966.

Since then substantial investment in people, premises and technology has helped us to become the largest distributor in the region but we still believe that in these days of multi-national conglomerates, distribution is a local business built upon personal relationships.

There are now BPX branches located in Nottingham, Wakefield, Northampton, Stoke and Slough and growing business throughout the UK and Europe from our online customers.
