Free Technical Support

BPX offers free telephone technical support to assist in the selection and application all of our products. Our help desk staff undergo a programme of regular training and updates.

Administrative Support

Taking cost out of your supply chain is success for us. We can streamline your administration by providing monthly usage reports, single invoices per project or per calendar month. We can enable communication in EDI or other electronic formats to improve both speed and cost.

Software Support

The BPX Software Support Team advise, assist and support customers with the construction of PLC, SCADA, Safety and Networking Software. Our Software Team takes on projects from designing individual modules of PLC code to supporting our customers with complete integrated suites of control programs.

We’re well aware that our customers don’t always restrict themselves to office hours. In general you can reach us at our head office between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday – but this doesn’t answer every eventuality. For those customers wanting extended access to stock or to engineering support we offer a range of out-of-hours support contracts. Our contracts extend from a 24hr hotline support number, to on-site engineering support 24/7, 365 days a year. Chances are we can provide the support you need. The BPX site service team is available to visit site to assist with specification, commissioning, or fault dignosis. They are equally happy helping customers to get to grips with new software or troubleshooting a difficult application in the field.

Customer Training

We offer customer training courses which are held regularly at our Leicester training centre, in our branches and on site. Courses are designed to enable your engineers to maximise the potential of both products and software. Popular courses include PLC maintenance and courses at either introductory or advanced levels on the use of both automation and safety programming software. BPX has been providing training to industry in the UK for over 25 years, providing customers with the new skills and abilities to optimise their investment in industrial control and automation.

Kitting

If you regulalrly use the same combination of parts we can stock and supply them as a kit of parts. A single line on the order, a single delivery of the collated parts and a single invoice line. Doing this eases our customers administration and logistics and removes cost from the supply chain

Stock Management

We actively work with customers who use Just-In-Time (JIT) programmes by offering a suite of stock management services. At a basic level we provide simple consignment stock, an efficient automatic replenishment service and Kanban systems tailored to each customers requirements. At the upper levels we take responsibility for running our customers’ stores or embedding a BPX branch withincusotmer premises. Each service is designed to reduce our customer's costs in administering, monitoring and maintaining their on-site stocks whilst optimising the availability of components.

Pre-Assembly

Our popular assembly facility allows customers to order components as sub-assemblies; fitted, mounted and pre-wired. With our associated design service, our workshop capability ranges from terminal assemblies through populated backplates to complete control system build. All manufacturing work is carried out to an ISO 9001 approved Quality Management System.
